Women's Formation refers to the purposeful processes by which women at Imago Dei discover and develop their identity in Christ. Its aim, beyond blessing each woman with the freedom and hope that come from a deep understanding of God’s goodness and grace, is to empower women to recognize, cultivate, and share their God-given gifts with each other, with Imago Dei, with Portland, and the world.
The beauty of freedom in security, transformation in community, and service in gifting is a testimony to Christ’s life and love at work in the world. Imago Dei women have the powerful opportunity, then, both to live in Christ and to let that life displayed draw others to the God of joy and beauty.
