Love Portland

Jesus chose to enter the needy and broken parts of the world in order to transform humanity’s alienation into communion, our ugliness into beauty, our despair into hope. As Christ’s people, called to become like Him and walk with Him, Imago Dei Community seeks to do the same. Through Love Portland’s strategic one-day events, the church practices stepping into the timely and practical needs of our city with Christ’s holistic generosity. But these community renewal events are simply warm up. Jesus calls Imago Dei to love Portland everyday, all day. By recognizing the needs of our city and by then creatively applying God’s resources to those needs, the church practices living together toward our neighbors in the holistic, transformational action of God’s Spirit. Read More...
