so you want to start a missional community?

Starting a new missional community:

If the missional opportunities already available do not match with your passion we encourage you to consider starting a new one. It is our vision to see hundreds of intentional gospel initiatives scattered throughout Portland. We want to fan the flame of the creativity and passion! We will resource through training opportunities, mentoring, leadership development, vision writing, etc. 

You will need to…
  • Demonstrate complementary vision and values with Imago Dei
  • Build a team of at least 3 leaders (School of Theology class, Church and Gospel required) and 5 workers
  • Contact Clark Blakeman, director of Community Relations, , who will guide you through the rest of the process for establishing a new missional community
