If loving community is core to God’s nature, and if we are made in God’s image, then loving community is core to our nature too. What we call Church, then, is nothing less than God’s own community extended to each of us and shared among all of us. What we call the gospel, in turn, is nothing less than God’s invitation to all peoples to commune with Him and with each other in His eternal love.
Home Communities
Neighborhood groups in which diverse people from all walks and stages of life practice being Jesus to one another and to others in Portland’s neighborhoods. These communities are meant to help reflect Imago Dei’s four core values. They also reflect the specific giftings and personalities of their members.
Arts Community
Imago Dei Arts exists to help artists learn what it means to abide abundantly and unabashedly in their expression of God’s creative image. Amateurs and professionals find maturity together in spiritual and technical disciplines, removing barriers between artistic collaboration and communing in Christ.

School of Theology
What people think shapes who they are. That’s one reason the New Testament says to refuse conformity with selfish status quo thinking, and, instead, to be transformed by renewing the mind through Christ (Romans 12:2). In a culture packed with differing worldviews, Imago Dei’s School of Theology exists to help people connect the guiding resources of Scripture (that is, theology) with everyday life.
Refuge
Imago Dei Refuge provides a safe place where people are able to grow spiritually and gain freedom from their hurts, destructive behaviors, and life struggles. People receive support, education, and encouragement in the context of a community that believes that God's grace is fostered through the channels of relationship.

Marriage Groups
Imago’s Marriage Ministry comes alongside couples through marriage mentoring, engagement and newlywed classes, annual weekend seminars, and by creating opportunities for meaningful connections between married couples.
Students
The transition from adolescence to adulthood is full of dramatic change. But Imago Dei recognizes that what matters most, ultimately, is how Christ works in each student during this key life season. Imago Students, then, hold to the same core values and pursuits of maturity that guide any other Imago Dei ministry.

Forums
Forums at Imago Dei help Christ’s people pursue wisdom through multi-voiced conversation and transparent pastoral explanations of how the church's current Biblical doctrines intersect with those conversations.
