Jared Birt
“People are one of the most creative and artistic elements in our world. Each individual is unique and different. No matter where in the world they might be from, they have a story that is worth telling. Whether I am photographing people, product, lifestyle or commercial work it is my passion to photograph the raw emotion that is there in a clean and artistic way.” - Jared Birt

Jared Birt - Powell ButteThe first thing anyone has to say about Jared Birt is that he is a sincerely nice guy. And it is true.  Jared has a real passion for people, and he shows it through his work.

Jared Birt’s art appears sometimes pensive, often hopeful. His strengths seem to come from seeing everyday life with an observant, inspiring lens.

You may recognize some of Jared’s work from Imago Dei’s website, or from the pews on Sunday.

His piece Recollections, which believe it or not was taken from a camera phone, is the current screen art in the sanctuary.  Jared has other work currently hanging in the Imago Dei Sanctuary and is also the current header for our Marriage Forum, Winter School of Theology, and Sunday web pages.

This image is beautiful! Feels to me like Jared’s spirit comes through…and/or God’s spirit too.
