How does your computer check in system work?
(laminated badges, scanners, program, etc)
Our computer program was written by a programmer in our church and is continually in development. It has multiple functions such as: database, family & child pages with photos and all their info, check in screen that tracks which kids were present for which classes on which day, and a function to print reports (birthdays, which kids were present on which days, database info, and child badges). We laminate the badges that the program prints. They each have a bar code where a scanner can check in both a child and volunteer into the system. There are systems similar to this for sale on the web. Our programmer hopes to one day have this program available for sale to other churches.
