Good Friday--which is also called Holy Friday, Black Friday, or Great Friday--commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus. It is often celebrated as the culmination of Lenten preparations for Easter through a focus on the justice and love of God, as united in Christ on the cross.
Imago Dei will be celebrating Good Friday on April 2 during two services, one at 6pm, one at 7:30pm, both at Franklin. There will be childcare for the 6pm service only.
easter sunday services
Easter is less than a month away and we’ll be celebrating Christ’s resurrection with special services at 8:30am, 10:30am, and 12:30 pm - each at Franklin. If you’re able to be flexible, consider attending the early or late service. Imago Dei Kids will happen for children 5 years old and under. Children over 5 will join in the larger service. There will be no 5pm service.
easter baptisms
If you have committed yourself to following Jesus and have yet to be
baptized, this Easter Sunday you’ll have your chance. To help prepare you, there will be a two week Baptism class on March 21 and 28, at Franklin during the 11am service. To sign up, visit the table by the Ben Franklin statue or the table outside the entrance to the auditorium/sanctuary; you

high school spring retreat
The 2010 Spring (Beach) Retreat is scheduled, and we want all Imago Dei High School students and friends to come. We’ll head to the coast during April 9-11 to kick back and have a fine time. Contact Ben Tertin for important details:

just desserts
Franklin High will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, April 10, 6:30 – 10:30 p.m., at the Bossanova Ballroom. Artwork by students, faculty, and community artists will be on sale. There will be live performances by the Franklin jazz band, choir, dance class, and drama team. Proceeds will benefit Franklin’s industrial, visual, and performing arts department.
