Marriage mentoring plays a vital role in Marriage In God’s Image (MIGI), Imago Dei's ministry to
married men and women. It is our hope that mentor couples (who have been married for over ten years)
would walk alongside younger couples, pointing them to Christ and openly sharing hard-won
wisdom.
We at Imago Dei see the institution of marriage as a God-given gift and a reflection of the
relationship between Christ and His church. This God-imagery is vividly depicted in the as we
love and respect each other:
“No longer two, they become "one flesh." This is the way Christ treats the church. And
this provides a good picture of how each husband is to treat his wife, loving himself in loving
her, and how each wife is to honor her husband.” Ephesians 5
This is why we take great joy in supporting couples in their life-long commitment!
