Before visiting it is often helpful to know when and where you're visiting.

The following info pertains to the 9am and 11am Sunday services that meet at 13th and Ankeny. If you have any questions, please call the Imago Dei offices: (503) 231-5096.

Parking

Family Parking

There are parking lots on the west side of the campus, on both the north and south sides of 13th and Ankeny. There is also a small lot on the southwest side of the building for families.

Visitor Parking

Here's a map and key of the campus and parking lots (we want to have a great relationship with our neighbors, so thanks for respecting residents' driveway access).

Paging System

Upon checking in your child, you will recieve a pager that will alert you during the service if your child needs you.

Kids in Service

We love having kids be a part of our services, especially during worship times. But during sermons and special testimonies, please be sensitive to those around you if your child is loud. We have family areas with video feeds that you can take your kids to during those times.

Mothers' Room

We have a room for new moms down the hall in the gym. You’ll be able to participate in the service through a live video feed while caring for your infant. Water, snacks, nursing pillows and diapering supplies are there for you. Our Snugglers room (0-6 months) also has a nursing area.

Family Areas

We have a family area in our nursery where you can be with your child while watching a video feed of the service. There are also family areas in the gym for both early childhood & school age (video feed is in the foyer) where you can be with your child if they aren’t able to be in class.

School of Theology

The Imago Dei School of Theology exists to equip Christ followers to know, love, and serve God and His people. Classes in Bible, theology, spiritual formation, culture, and ministry are offrered. The Classes begin each Fall, Winter, and Spring. Please look to the course catalog for class announcements.

Worship

Communion

Communion is received every Sunday at Imago Dei as part of our worship service. The bread and wine symbolize Christ’s body broken: the blood and body of Christ who died for us. If you are a Christ follower, we encourage you to partake. As you take communion, please dip the bread in the wine or juice.

Prayer

During the service there are people available in the prayer room to pray with you. Follow the signs in front of the sanctuary, to the chapel located through the doors on either side of the stage, or ask a host to point you in the right direction.

Giving

Giving joyfully & sacrificially is a part of our worship service every Sunday. As a visitor who does not yet call Imago Dei your church home, please do not feel obligated to give.

Guest Forum

After every service, we have an informal time where a host presents Imago Dei’s core values, mission, and pathways to get connected. The leader will also be available to answer your questions. Follow the signs inside the sanctuary that say “guest forum”; please pick up your children before attending the forum.

Serve @ Imago Dei Community

To serve is to follow Christ, who didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Matt 20:28). If you are looking for ways to serve at Imago Dei, there is a tabe outside the auditorium explaining our different ministries and how to begin serving.
