Before visiting it is often helpful to know when and where you're visiting.

Our Sunday services are at 8:45, 10:30 and Noon.  We meet in the Sanctuary on 13th and Ankeny. If you have any questions, please call the Imago Dei offices: (503) 231-5096.

Getting Situated

Information Center / Resource Center

Both our information and resource centers can be found inside the sancutary. When you enter through the front doors, take a right and you'll find them. Visit the information center for any questions you may have. Visit the resource center to find the latest books and materials recommended by staff or school of theology teachers.

Coffee Lounge

The coffee lounge is right by the information and resource centers. Grab a book and a cup and relax.

Imago Dei Kids

Infants through 5th grade are welcome. Kids 0-2 are in the basement of the sanctuary. Enter the front doors and follow the signs. Kids 3 & Up meet in the Ankeny Building. Enter the building through the entrance off of Ankeny St. and you'll be able to check your child in.

Jr. High

Grades 6-8 meet next to the gym but enter through the main entrance to the Ankeny building, off of Ankeny St. Contact Ben Tertin with any questions - .

Paging System

Upon checking in your child, you will recieve a pager that will alert you during the service if your child needs you.

Kids in Service

We love having kids be a part of our services, especially during worship times. But during sermons and special testimonies, please be sensitive to those around you if your child is loud. We have family areas with video feeds that you can take your kids to during those times.

Mothers' Room

We have a room for new moms located in our Nursery below the Sanctuary. You’ll be able to participate in the service through a live video feed while caring for your infant. Water, snacks, nursing pillows and diapering supplies are there for you.

Family Areas

There is a family lounge located in the south balcony of the sanctuary building where you can be with your child while watching a video feed of the service.

Worship

Communion

Communion is received every Sunday at Imago Dei as part of our worship service. The bread and wine symbolize Christ’s body broken: the blood and body of Christ who died for us. If you are a Christ follower, we encourage you to partake. As you take communion, please dip the bread in the wine or juice.

Prayer

During communion, there are people available to pray with you. Meet them at the doors located on either side of the stage, or ask a host to point you in the right direction.

Giving

Giving joyfully & sacrificially is a part of our worship service every Sunday. As a visitor who does not yet call Imago Dei your church home, please do not feel obligated to give.

Guest Forum

After every service, we have an informal time where a host presents Imago Dei’s core values, mission, and pathways to get connected. The leader will also be available to answer your questions. The guest forum is located in the South Balcony Lounge in the Sanctuary building.  Please pick up your children before attending the forum.

Serve @ Imago Dei Community

To serve is to follow Christ, who didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Matt 20:28). If you are looking for ways to serve at Imago Dei, there is a tabe outside the auditorium explaining our different ministries and how to begin serving.
